The current South African team can be considered to be one of strongest one with Dale Steyn and Morkel in great form along with great batting from Hasim Amla and Jacques Kallis.

India vs South Africa 1st test 2010 – Live
Post from Cricket Current
Friday, February 5, 2010, 5:26 am Read more: India, South Africa (add tags)

The top two teams of test cricket will battle for a 2-match test series to decide who is the world champion of test cricket. India is currently no.1 at ICC rankings and at least series draw means it will remain in no.1. Neo Cricket has named the series as “World Championship of Cricket”. If India remains no.1 in the series, it will be World Champions of test cricket this year and will receive award from ICC.
1st Test: India v South Africa at Nagpur
Feb 6-10 Time: 09:30 local, 04:00 GMT
To win the first test at Nagpur, India needs to tackle the South African pace attack well. Steyn, Morkel and Parnell has made the attack one of the best in world. Batting is powered by solid foundations provided by Smith and Jacques Kallis both of whom have great record in India. On the other side, Indian batsmen are too in superb form. Though Dravid will miss, Gambhir, Sehwag and Tendulkar are in superb touch.
Indian pace attack is a bit weaker. Zaheer is of course in great touch whereas Ishant needs to show some improvements. South Africa relys mainly on pace attack and either of two spinners Botha and Harris will play. They are not the great threat compared to Indian spin attack which has Harbhajan Singh.
