RCB has won the IPL 2010 match against MI by 7 wickets on March 20, 2010. Batting first Mumbai made 151 5 batsmen scoring the 20s with no one getting above it. Bangalore bowlers were highly economic especially Dale Steyn who took 3 wickets and had economy of 6.5

In reply, RCB got superb start again with Manish Pandey and Jacques Kallis. Pandey made 40 while Kallis became not out on 66 runs. Zaheer was economic but rest of the bowlers didn’t have good figures and the match was won by Bangalore easily.

This is the first hattrick of IPL 2010 season which was delivered by Indian Praveen Kumar in the 10th match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals. Rajsathjan were struggling before the Praveen’s hattrick in the 17th over. Rajasthan had a poor start with 85-4 and after the hattrick it was 85-7 in the 16-4 overs. RR just managed to make 92 runs which was chased by RCB in 11th over without losing any wicket.

16.3 – P Kumar to S Narwal : Left handed on the strike ; Praveen bowls shorter this time and was pulled. Fielder coming underneath it, fumbles and manages to catch running. 2 on 2 for Kumar, Rajasthan 85-6.
16.4 – P Kumar to P Dogra : Hattrick ball ; length ball completely missed by Dogra. You miss I hit for Kumar going to hit the middle stump. HTTRICK for P Kumar.

Bangalore Royal Challengers defeated the Rajasthan Royals in the royal clash here on IPL 2010 by easy 10 wickets. Rajasthan got its third lost whereas this is second win for Bangalore out of three matches. Batting first Rajasthan royals were totally cruished out by the bowling attack of RCB. RR only managed to make 92 runs in 19.5 overs losing all the 10 wickets. Praveen Kumar got the hattrick on the 17th over that changed 85-4 to 85-7 in three balls. In reply, Bangalore didn’t lose their single wicket where Pandey and Kallis guided the victory in 11th over. This is the first IPL 2010 match where ball really dominated bat in a innings.

Rajasthan Royals : 92- all out in 19.5 overs
Royals Challengers Bangalorte : 93-0 in 10.3 overs

The last year’s finalist got their firstpoint on IPL 3 in their second game defeating Punjab by huge margin of 8 wickets. Batting, first Punjab thrashed a target of 203-3 in 20 overs. Operners Bopara and Bisla gt 129 runs patnership that made Punjab strong to defend the total. In reply, South African Kallis played a great innings chasing the mountains of runs with 7 balls to spare. Kallis made 89 not out whereas Uthhapa made 51 runs.

Kolkata Knight Riders won their second match of IPL too as they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets. It was again Matthews who played an important role in win but this time with the ball as he took 4 wickets giving just 19 runs in 4 overs. RCB were restricted to 135/7 in 20 overs after tight bowling from the Knight Riders’.

In reply, KKR got at superb start as both Manoj Tiwary and Brad Hodge got their fifites opening the innings. Tiwary was adjudged the man of the match for his 50 of 29 balls. With this win, KKR has made a solid foundation to IPL 2010 table.

After the tight survival from the 1st game of IPL 2010 back in India, Knight Riders are all set to play against the last year’s finalist Royal Challenger’s Bangalore. Anil Kumble’s team is playing their first match in this season’s IPL. KKR hasve shown they are fighting very hard from the 1st match and they would like to continue their winning streak for long. Bangalore were superb in the IPL 2009 at South Africa and would love to go hard this time again.

Dravid will be desperate with other local boys Manish Pandey, Uthappa, Kohli and Praveen Kumar.

Batting-led 1st match victory for the KKR team will have to focus in bowling department. Locals doing well and if the overseas players goes on like 1st match that will be great for the team. If Ajit Agarkar is fit then only that could be change rather they would go with the same winning team.
